BioVectis is a part of the CURELUNG consortium (www.curelung.eu) financed by the FP7 grant which aims to advance current knowledge of lung cancer therapies by providing:
- novel targetable molecules for lung cancer therapy.
- set of clinically and functionally validated markers of patient response to a variety of novel chemotherapeutical agents in lung cancer.
- novel information about molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways by integrating expression, methylation profiling and genome-wide sequencing data sets.
- providing initial preclinical validation of potential new markers in response to targeted therapies and drug resistance mechanisms.
- clinical validation of novel preclinical animal tumour models, which could subsequently be used in chemosensitivity and drug resistance continued studies
